  1. Confirm whether one device or every device is affected
  2. Check modem and router lights
  3. Restart equipment in the correct order
  4. Test closer to the router
  5. Forget and reconnect to the network
  6. Check for device updates
  7. Test a wired connection when possible
  8. Review router placement
  9. Look for interference and dead zones
  10. Confirm internet-provider status
  11. Consider mesh Wi-Fi for larger coverage areas
